In the first Dark Age, the Feast of the Ass was a topsy-turvy event honoring society’s lowest members at the expense of its typical hierarchy. In this excerpt from a longer work inspired by that tradition, our traveling players present a raucous puppet show reminding everyone that the ass may be a metaphor for the lowly and foolish, but it's also a notoriously stubborn workhorse who packs a hell of a kick.

 

Floor Banana Productions is a partnership of partnerships, comprising comedy duo The Martin Duprass (Lauren Thomas-Martin and Jeremy Martin) and two-person art rock act Fresh Juice Party (Pratibha Gautam and Craig Casey). The foursome’s first project was the surreal music video for FJP’s song “Invisible Flame,” followed by the sci-fi comedy short film PimPam and the medical-procedural parody web series Turd Autopsy.
