SWEATER CURSE: A YARN ABOUT LOVE

BY: ELAINE LINER

Sweater Curse: A Yarn Abot Love

Knitting and comedy intertwine in this smart five-star festival hit about unraveled romances, unrivaled literature and life's knottiest dilemmas. All you knit is love for an hour that BroadwayBaby.com describes as "full of wit...told with style and elegance." TheaterJones.com says it's "a purl jam that will have you in stitches!" Dallas News: "Like listening to a friend who really needs to tell you some stories." Come early to add rows to the "traveling scarf." Bring your knitting. Hookers welcomed (you know who I mean).

Elaine Liner is a Dallas-based playwright/performer who debuted her solo show Sweater Curse: A Yarn about Love at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe. She's also performed at Dallas Solo Fest, New Orleans Fringe, San Antonio Classic Theatre, Granbury Opera House and many other venues. A former journalist, Elaine is a member of the Dramatists Guild and often teaches publicity workshops for other artists. If you see a white-haired lady knitting in public, it's probably her.
