A Portion For Foxes
by Holly McNatt
Happy endings, particularly in romances, are very satisfying. Once declarations of love between the two characters take place, the story usually ends, and we’re okay with that. They got together, that’s what we needed to know.
However, while not nearly as sexy or exciting as “will they or won’t they?” there’s the lingering question of, “well, what happens next?” Truth be told, falling in love is easy. Staying in love is what’s hard. And the intrigue comes in what they’re willing to sacrifice in order to make it work. In short, A Portion For Foxes explores this notion, the epilogue of a great love story, the Happily Ever Afterward.
