Applications for the 2024 Theatre Crude Fringe Festival are open now through May 20, 2024. Please read our Handbook before you begin your application as it contains a plethora of information about what Theatre Crude provides and expects from participating artists. Theatre Crude encourages applicants who do not feel like they fit the traditional theatre mould. Fringe is a place for experimentation and oddness. Storytellers, dancers, musicians, puppeteers, clowns, contortionists, visual artists, and so many more types of performers who believe they can captivate an audience for an hour can and should apply.
It's our hope to provide a balanced, varied, live, and in-person festival full of unique perspectives and styles. Therefore, Theatre Crude Fringe Festival is a juried festival with an application process. We're not looking for the "best of the best" - we're looking for "the most passionate of the passionate."
Get Involved
Theatre Crude welcomes out-of-town performers from across the nation; we would love for them to stay with local Okies. If you are able to open your home to provide an out-of-town artist a place to stay, click the Host An Artist button and fill out the short form. And thank you!
We are always on the lookout for passionate individuals to help us achieve our goals. Volunteers, social media advocates, local business sponsors - all are necessary for a successful festival. If you or your business are interested in learning more, we look forward to hearing from you.
