WORKSHOP:

Play-In-Progress Group Feedback

by Sarah Fenner King

Part of 2021 Festival at Factory Obscura

Wed 10/6  12p

Play writing can be a lonely process sometimes. This workshop will get "fresh eyes" on your play script that can help you reach your goals. Participants in the class will submit a play or summary of a play they are working on prior to the class. The instructor will read the participants' plays before the workshop in order to provide detailed feedback.

This informally structured class will also include discussion and sharing as participants read and describe their work to the group in order to discover potential revisions or recieve help with their writer's block.

Don't have a script ready? You can "audit" the class by arriving with a scene, some notes, or just your concept ideas ready to share!

Sarah Fenner King is a Norman-based playwright who has taught playwriting in the Norman Public Schools for their Get The Lead Out Program, and for the Namron Players Theatre's YourStory Workshops. She has written plays for Namron and their annual 24 Hour Play Fest, and Theatre Crude 2020 and 2021.
